location
Four boundaries of Haiyi Islet plot are Zhujiang Avenue in
the north, external ring in the south, South Youyi Road and
canal in the east and Chentang Village Railway in the west.
The total land area of Haiyi Islet is 422.4ha, including 300ha
green and water landscape area, 71% of total land area. It
is one of major environmental construction areas in Tianjin
in recent years. This plot is located on Haiyi Islet area,
covering an area of 800mu.
Geology
and landform
This area is of marine alluvial plain with low terrain and
wet soil. It is an area rich in terrestrial heat. At present,
it has few inland, is mainly composed of ponds with some vegetation
like locust trees and low shrubs. It is the largest reserved
wetland in Tianjin.
Peripheral
environment
Haiyi Islet plot will be a natural ecological community integrating
leisure, tourism, holiday-spending and living. It is adjacent
to the Meijiang Residential Area in the north, and the South
Meijiang Resident Area across the South Youyi Road in the
east. These two ecological residential areas enjoy good project
quality, grade, added value as well as natural landscape and
cultural environment. In addition, the Youyi Road and Binshui
Avenue Commercial Sub-center District has advantageous conditions,

environment
In recent years, along with the development and construction

Youyi Road and Binshui Avenue has been positioned as the Tianjin
sub-CBD. The Municipal Government will allocate total 3200mu
land west of Youyi Road and east of South Jiefang Road to
build the conference and exhibition center and car exhibition
center. Haiyi Islet is also a major greening landscape planning
construction project of Tianjin.
Peripheral
traffic conditions
Since this lot is located at the Haiyi Islet plot, its main
highway is South Youyi Road, South Weijin Road and external
ring. These three roads are all urban express roads with good
traffic conditions. The Tanjiang Avenue in planning will connect
the South Jiefang Road and be passed by the Metro Line 6 in
its west.

auxiliary facilities
At present, such area has no auxiliary municipal facilities.
Along with the development and construction of Meijiang and
South Meijiang Residential Areas, improved highway conditions,
move-in of various auxiliary municipal facilities along the
Youyi Road, comprehensive economic and social effects brought
by the governmental southern move plan and the opening of
south middle ring, various business, living and municipal
auxiliary facilities will be further improved.
